The Journey Begins.
Monday morning comes and the Green team piles into our nine passenger van and heads for the west coast. With many anxious thoughts and feelings, the excitement was almost too much to handle. Saying goodbye to family and friends left emotions running high. It's been four days since we left and the initial shock of road life is wearing off. Personally, I love living on the road. I'm in a new place every day getting to be a complete tourist and I have the opportunity to meet all kinds of interesting people. My only complaint is living out of a suitcase...it can get pretty heavy sometimes! I was able to take a picture at the Arch in St. Loius, MO a couple of days ago; today I'm in Shawnee, KS; and Nebraska will be my home for the weekend. That's just a glimpse of how fast the traveling happens. My team is doing wonderful. We love each other and love laughing together. It's awesome to have a constant prayer group, worship ensemble, and comedy barn surrounding me at all times. I look forward to the many adventures that will unfold as this journey continues.
