Host Homes!
Host homes are wonderful! Every weekend, the church we sing in provides us with lodging for the evening. It's always exciting because you never know what to expect. Some are a little scary; such as an old farmhouse with roosters and wild dogs greeting you as you get out of the car in the back shed, when a Doberman is the inside pet, or when babysitting 5 kids becomes your hobby for the night (just to name a few). And some are an unbelievable blessing of relaxation, incredible conversation, tasty treats, beautiful site-seeing, moments of laughter, mind-boggling testimonies, and a safe-haven away from home. Whatever the case, they are always enjoyable and make for some great stories!
This past weekend we were able to reunite with a couple that worked with us this summer during Training Camp. Mr. Paul and Mrs. Dawn have been an awesome encouragement to our team. They are so gracious, kind, and loving. Their church family welcomed us with open arms and warm smiles. It was the most "at home" I've felt since tour began.
Only at host homes does one get to try on poofy wedding dresses from the 90's!!! I'm a princess!

Washington!!

Melyssa and myself havin a blast b/c we're eating Mexican food!
The Green Team Girls!
We're a couple of hours outside of Spokane, Washington and we're headed to Seattle. Washington is beautiful and it's so nice to finally get out of the prairies. The rumors are true though...it rains all the time here! Friday nights are our nights out on the town so these are some of the pictures from our night. We ate mexican food at a resturant called Fiesta and then we went to Starbucks! It was such a great time of fellowship and fun. By the way, there are Starbucks on every corner out here!! It's so grand :)

Labor Day
We had a wonderful Labor Day. Because it's a school holiday it is also a Primary Focus holiday. Yeah! Sleeping-in is definately a rare occasion so 9:00 this morning was extra special. We were able to shop for some Labor Day sales for a couple of hours and then grab our swimsuits and head for the lake! I especailly enjoyed today because I had some time to get away in the shade overlooking the lake and journal. Now that, my friends, is relaxation! Who knew Idaho could be so cool?? It's beautiful here. We have another couple of weeks here before we make our way to Washington State. I know, I know...you wish you could be living my life right now! All I can say is, pray for big things and watch God work in big ways!
